THE GREY COAT | HELLO AUTUMN

 OUTFIT DETAILS
Coat: ASOS
Sweats: FOREVER21
top: H&M

Helloooooooooo. It's been about 4 months since I disappeared off the face of the blogosphere - I'm not sure why I did, but I did. But I'm back (maybe) A2 may take its toll again tho. However I did want to share this wavy outfit I put together (I wore it before but had to wear it again cos I didn't get any pictures lol.)
Winter is round the corner and I am very excited since I got this coat, grey coats are very suave (did I use that word right?) this season so expect a lot of this one - but a staple black coat is pending, I love the versatility of long line coats - easy to dress up or down. I paired them with roshe runs & hareem joggers to give it a "casual street london look" which I think I did quite well hehehe, sorry my face just didn't make the cut this time lolzzzz.
But just dropping by to say hello & hopefully I'll be back soon. x

Chrissie's winter wishlist

Winter wishlist, Celine nano bag, Givenchy Antigona Medium, Dr Martens

Basically the first things I'd buy if I had a bit of money. My closet is in desperate need of an update and even though it's unlikely I'll get a few of things things - I can dream right D:. (all items in bold are linked)
1 - Givenchy bag - I've had dreams of this bag omg. I've wanted it for a while and after seeing the pictures of Kylie Jenner sporting it, I just can't stop thinking about the endless outfits I could wear it with. Currently priced at £1,395 - this may just continue to be a dream for a few more years.
2 - Celine nano bag - It's so cute and small, and you could just look so casually sassy with a pair of sunglasses and loafers, what I love most is the size as I'm not a major major fan of handbags - currently priced at £1,890 - I think I'll just keep dreaming.
3 - Dr Marten '3989' Brogue Shoe - When I got the £15 version to these, I thought hmm yeah, but then after a while they kinda got soft and as I absolutely love wearing them I thought I could get the real ones for about £70 then I looked it up and found out it was £130, my heart shattered, the endless amount of outfits I've conjured up for these and they'd look even nicer with a sturdier pair. Maybe I'll actually save up for these but that might take a while and these are like the perfect winter wear.
4. Topshop Maroon Box purse - I've wanted a new purse that was bigger to fit all my money in (lol ofc) but I just couldn't find one i actually liked. I don't like the rectangular ones so when I came across this boxy one, I quite liked it as it was big but still small... however I didn't feel like spending £14 on a purse so I just left it, but, I think I might go back for it. And I love the colour.
5. Topshop Mesh drawstring bag - I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it, the mesh plus the khaki was the perfect mix of ahhhhh. Khaki is a beautiful colour yes. It was only £10 but I couldn't justify spending £10 on a drawstring bag plus I don't even know what I'd put inside or what I'd wear it with really but then again I'm always one to make excuses as to why I shouldn't spend money on things. Maybe I'll go back for this one too. :3 ....maybe.
6. White Jumper -£22  7. Black Jumper- £22 8. Grey jumper - £35 - When thinking of what to wear, it usually has one of these items involved, as its winter - sweaters are only right. I was also thinking of doing a casual lookbook so I kinda want all these and I can imagine them all with boyfriend coats and leather or cigarette pants or mom jeans or just black ripped jeans. who wants to fund me? :D
9. Khaki coat  - The thing is with coats is they're hardly warm and if they are - they're expensive and like it's not like you can just have one coat for every outfit- you need quite a few to satisfy different outfit combinations but the nice one's are so expensive D: I can't. This one here is a major £95 and I doubt I'll be getting this anytime soon as it's such a specific colour I wouldn't wear it that often so it would be a bit of a waste. Maybe if I saved up - but even if I do I can never imagine spending a whole £95 on one thing - I usually get swayed into lots of small things.
10. Black midi coat  - I always wear an outfit and imagine a nice black coat with it. A black coat that looks like this. Its so simple and sophisticated and you can wear it with so many things - the khaki bag, the jumpers, the Celine nano bag- ahhhhhhhh. after making this list I think I'll starting trying harder to save money. This one is £70 so it might actually be the first thing I buy. :o

PRICE CHECK
So lets see how much this all costs: £3683 LOOOOL. wow. ok - lets try again.
What I can actually attempt to save up for and actually buy: £398 HA!
Ok when I actually prioritise the list of what I should actually buy: £258 (reasonable right?)
(Black Midi coat, Purse, Docs, Black jumper and White jumper)
But obviously there are cheaper jumpers,  if I look I bet I could find them for half the price so take away £22 -
FINAL TOTAL: £236 (better) :p

THRIFTED: TARTAN SCARF & MOM JEANS

This post is WELLL overdue seeing as I wore this about a week ago *shmurda moment* but oh well. I've been looking around for mom jeans for a while now but the price range was mad, £30 in h&m £42 in topshop maybe £60 or £80 in Urban outfitters, but due to my excellent bargain hunting skills I managed to grab these for ONLY £1?!?! YES A POUND. - Thrifted from the east end thrift shop pound sale - I'm in love with them (especially because of the price) I styled them with my air force 1's (highs) and a tight turtle neck long sleeve I bought from asos, I just really started to love asos actually, ESPECIALLY THE SALES YASSSS, and a long with a tartan scarf which I also scooped up for  £1, the week before I was willing to pay £10 for a tartan scarf but I managed to get 3 for £1 each yessssssssssss. The only thing about the scarf is the fact its this short but its not too bad.

Winter is approaching and I wore this on one of the coldest days, choosing style over warmth as usual, I refused to wear a coat, even though my mother warned me of the wind and rain D:, but its ok I suffered but oh well. One of my favourite combinations is air forces with mom jeans which I've been wanting to do for a long time so now I finally have the jeans! (see other ways i styled my airforces here) I styled my hair completely slicked back which is my favourite look now - it fits with the old school look as well as for the days I want to wear long coats giving a more slick feel and fits well with my shaved sides. Maybe I'll do a video on how I style mom jeans at some point :x  - Blogposts are getting harder to do as the dark mornings and dark evenings are finally here but I may start doing regular posts twice a week so make sure you follow me on all social media sites to keep up :)

OOTD | Airforce Obsession

The skirt is slightly big so i must purchase a smaller one because I'm in love with it, I think it was like £3 from primark, I kept it simple with a plain white tee and my airforces (https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=F9nedpMSG3A) latest video on how i style air force 1's (high and low) lemme just elaborate on them a bit -  im obsessed. air forces are essential to my wardrobe, they're so versatile and you can style with so many different looks and everyone can wear them no matter their personal style, age etc - casual, smart, urban etc, i think if i was rich i'd own several pairs - definitely classics - not sure if i like this outfit tho but i was rushing to go out so - i love how its the end of september and i can still dress like this - i do hope it lasts - (it probably won't.) Quick update: after reviewing my life and timetable, expect something new every friday but make sure you follow or subscribe ^_^ x
