BUT ITS WINTER

right. just by the basis of this outfit we can gather I have no bearings in season. I hate when coats ruin my outfits gawwwd. In my last post I'm sure I said I won't wear this kimono again. Clearly I was wrong.

I decided not to wear a bra with this outfit because idk it looks more effortless, and sometimes smaller boobs look nicer so. I didn't wanna wear a coat so I tested out this kimono and I was just like yess this works.

I also said in a previous post that AF1's and mom jeans are one of my favourite combinations, so that will be a reoccuring look.

This bag is life. The combination of the sunglasses and the bag made me feel somewhat of importance. But I will be getting more of these mini handbag things they are so cute. Primark prices are really making me happy nowadays, like yesssss.

I dunno how I feel about this hair, but I really can't be bothered with hair anymore like, if I looked nice bald I'd probably take that route because I have no energy.

Oh yes. I ALSO NOW HAVE A LEGITIMATE PHOTOGRAPHER SHOUTOUTZ TO ROXANNE MY HOME SKILLET BISCUIT - follow her instagram @roxieteshaaa this is more fun than standing infront of the same background all the time too.

I will be doing a video on how I style mom jeans so watch out for that or subscribe to be notified. ^_^ (channel link here)

Behind the scenes: Studio Pioneers

Studio pioneers. I caught up with this group of creatives on their latest work for Mac-Audray & Eujane's latest collection. STP consists of creative members that specialise in fashion, photography, music, acting and directing.

I did a mini interview with Mac to find out more about STP:

STP was created to bring something new, they are a group of artists, bringing their skills together to help with each individual project. Their last project included a single release from their other members: Danie D and le $teez (link found here)

Currently they are working on a line - as said earlier, the inspiration behind the line was an anime character from Naruto. and next they are thinking of hopefully, a collaboration with Topshop.

The group consists of two designers: Mac Audray who designs womens/menswear fusing together classic items with his own little twist - Triill Wiill is a menswear designer that gathers inpsiration from objects and what he comes across in Vogue to create masterpieces.

Alice the photographer, some of her work is displayed on the STP instagram: @studiopioneers, she has taken some amazing shots of the collection which will hopefully be available to see soon as well as other amazingggg photos which can be found on the groups instagram.

And finally, video producer, Roxy, who video documents the latest on STP to give you an insight into the family and seeing them on a more personal level; all vlogs can be viewed here (click)

STP: is an acronym for studio pioneers, they came up with the name through the thought that they'd be young pioneers that have come together to from a crew of artistry.  They believe and hope that in the future they'll achieve their dreams of being recognised for their creative work and inspiring other creatives to get active and start building themselves up for what they want.

These guys are definitely something to look out for and this is only the beginning.

Follow STP on instagram: @studiopioneers to see the latest of what they are working on.

BLACK IS NOT THE NEW RELIGION

Its been a while since I've left my house in an all black ensemble, and its most likely going to be the last. I've never felt so out of place in a really long time, the odd silence as I walked onto the bus was unsettling. I felt like I was either going to a funeral, raising the dead or performing some sort of exorcism.

BUT on the other hand there are a few pieces of this outfit which I am in love with. To start with, this mini handbag purse thing IS SO CUTTEEEEEEE. I've never really liked bringing big bags around so I started to draw this liking to sidebags, then this trend of mini celine bags came around and I was like yesssss. However this isn't the average priced celine bag, this is my £6 primark version and I loveeee it. I wore it on the opposite side as I'm not a fan of the pattern on the actual front, I prefer the simplicity of the other side.  It's big enough to hold everything but still small enough to look casual. Favourite item in my closet atm.

The boots. So I saw these boots on, I think it was public desire for around 27.99? and I think river Island had them last year for around £40 but while walking around my area I looked into a shop window which had them for only £20 (god bless my bargain hunting skills) so of course I had to get them, and after bringing them to the counter I got them for £15.99. YASSSSSSS. B)

Leather look leggings are a must haves for my winter essentials, as you can make outfits look a bit more slick with any top or coat and instantly you look slightly more expensive or like you actually tried to get dressed.

Ive been looking for a black kimono for the longest while and I managed to take this out of my moms closet, and now I don't really think I want one anymore, just a one wear type of thing.

But, anyways I just mentally created part of my winter staples list: Leather leggings, black boots and a side mini handbag thing.

Note to self* - get a shape up so I don't have to wear a beanie

I can't believe I used to wear beanies all the time, like I can't stand it and I'm stuck with it all week until I have time to find a barber.

SASSY PINK BROGUES

CAN WE ALL JUST TAKE A MOMENT TO APPRECIATE THESE SHOES. OMG. YASSSS. OK.  you know when you wear something and you don't think enough people saw you so you wanna wear it again? this was one of those outfits ohmg.

In order to give these shoes all the attention it deserves, wearing all black was necessary, this coat gives me life, I stole it from my sisters closet yas (as well as the shoes ehehehe), its a few sizes bigger, so it gives it this waterfall flowy look.  I love how the pockets are so big, and i love how cloaky the coat is with the overlap - makes it look sophisticated. I wore plain black skinny jeans because I don't own tailored trousers or cigarette trousers, so these were good enough, and these were all I had, so. yes.

Only thing is these shoes are... incredibly uncomfortable and painful, I knew it when I put them on but yet again being me I chose style over comfort, It looked too amazing to take off, so I took deep breath and went about my day, by about midday I had to walk while biting my lip, and I wanted to crawl home after college, so I'll probably never ever ever wear them again, unless I can find an equally beautiful pair I am willing to pay for. :(

I felt so posh wearing this, legit I felt so important like yasssssss these shoes made me feel sassy. I think everyone needs a pair of something that makes them feel important.
This is one of the looks in my autumn lookbook {click here to watch} watch the other looks here ^_^

THRIFTED: TARTAN SCARF & MOM JEANS

This post is WELLL overdue seeing as I wore this about a week ago *shmurda moment* but oh well. I've been looking around for mom jeans for a while now but the price range was mad, £30 in h&m £42 in topshop maybe £60 or £80 in Urban outfitters, but due to my excellent bargain hunting skills I managed to grab these for ONLY £1?!?! YES A POUND. - Thrifted from the east end thrift shop pound sale - I'm in love with them (especially because of the price) I styled them with my air force 1's (highs) and a tight turtle neck long sleeve I bought from asos, I just really started to love asos actually, ESPECIALLY THE SALES YASSSS, and a long with a tartan scarf which I also scooped up for  £1, the week before I was willing to pay £10 for a tartan scarf but I managed to get 3 for £1 each yessssssssssss. The only thing about the scarf is the fact its this short but its not too bad.

Winter is approaching and I wore this on one of the coldest days, choosing style over warmth as usual, I refused to wear a coat, even though my mother warned me of the wind and rain D:, but its ok I suffered but oh well. One of my favourite combinations is air forces with mom jeans which I've been wanting to do for a long time so now I finally have the jeans! (see other ways i styled my airforces here) I styled my hair completely slicked back which is my favourite look now - it fits with the old school look as well as for the days I want to wear long coats giving a more slick feel and fits well with my shaved sides. Maybe I'll do a video on how I style mom jeans at some point :x  - Blogposts are getting harder to do as the dark mornings and dark evenings are finally here but I may start doing regular posts twice a week so make sure you follow me on all social media sites to keep up :)

September favourites

Well after my video was an utter failure I thought I'd just do a blogpost because I really like these products and my inability to formulate a sentence through a video shall not stop that. lol. okokokok lets start this is a long one. judging from my reactions y'all can understand how these products make me feel yes?

THE JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ EASE 6 EFFECTS SERUM: Right so my hair had been natural for about 6 months probably only straightened once out of the whole time, so when I put my hair extensions back in around september, and attempted to straighten around it - it wasn't a very successful experience, my edges were pooofffff so i had to go out and purchase something and this serum is an absolute life saver - I managed to keep my hair straight ALLLL DAY as well as through to the next day and the next, it makes your hair super soft as well as protecting from heat and ELIMINATES FRIZZ completely thank god.

YASSSSS MILK OF MAGNESIA ok i don't have indigestion problems or an upset stomach AND I am not crazy - Milk of Magnesia liquid is THE ULTIMATE PRIMER omgomg. so from my previous posts I'm sure you can tell I've been hunting for something that will keep my make up on all day, i have super oily skin so by midday my face is actually a joke, so I looked up this stuff as I'd heard of it before but didn't pay much attention to it, after giving up on setting sprays, hair spray and i thought lemme just invest in this thingy here seeing as its only £5. I tested it on thursday AND OH MY LORD OKOK so i was out 8-6 in central, on the underground, in college etc and my face looked EXACTLY the same as it did when I applied my make up in the morning, no exaggeration, i swear im not crazy this is a known product if you look it up and its used as a primer by lots of other people, its absolutely perfect - tons of videos on how to apply on zee youtube so,

So because of my oily skin, a liquid foundation was toooo liquidy but I also do not like powder foundations because its too powdery.. lol so I ventured out to find an in between and I found this, a mousse sounded perfect as it was in between a liquid and a powder, not too liquidy or too powder so I'm not too oily or too dry.

Right so I've never had a gel liner before, I usually would just stick to pencils but its just that by the end of the day the eyeliner I'd have in the morning would either be gone or sliding under my eyes, so I thought gel as something to do with pencil having moving parts therefore runs easily, so I got this thing here and its such a cute little pot I'm slightly in love with it, I've been using it since the start of september and theres still so much left so yass for that. and also IT STAYS ON ALL DAY. which is important in an eye liner, the brush is super sturdy and perfect for doing a winged liner as well as regular eyeliner and lining the top lid.

This is an exfoliating pad. I couldn't afford the electric thingy that I forgot the name of. err. but my face used to be, like idk how to explain it but you know those little white dots everywhere but they aren't spots? I'd have a lot around my nose chin and cheeks, even when I used face wash my hands weren't a rough enough surface for scrubbing my skin, so I got this in the body shop, and I use it with face wash and it just makes your face wash more worth it because it really scrubs it into your skin, a bit painful to start with but you see the difference when using your hands compared to the pad.

Body shop blackhead remover, and spot popper. YAS i pop spots. don't judge me idc idc, this tool is great as you don't use nails or hands so you're less likely to get scars or make it worse with dirty hands, its easy to use, a lot neater and just gets it right out... lool.

I bought this like a year ago in new york on a rush trip but im so glad i picked this one up, Its cover girl so not available in the UK but the brush is absolutely amazing, separates your lashes no clumps, I really hate big brushes because its just messy and it doesn't define your lashes like this does. I couldn't focus the brush on the camera but its so nice.

For my nails I only ever like nudes, pinks and whites idk its just so much nicer and fluffier lol? but these have definitely been my favourite three (on camera they all look the same because of the light but clearly they are different. Essie sugar daddy | Max factor dessert sand | Revlon sheer petal

I bought this because after a long day and your face has come in contact with everything, its probably a good idea to wash it with some soap. This is super duper strong, and at first my skin was cracking because of how dry it was but then I started moisturising more and it stopped so, but after using it, my face feels soooo clean and refreshed, and it has a really nice smell so yasssss.

I hope you read to the end and all lol. bye now. x
