Chrissie's winter wishlist

Winter wishlist, Celine nano bag, Givenchy Antigona Medium, Dr Martens

Basically the first things I'd buy if I had a bit of money. My closet is in desperate need of an update and even though it's unlikely I'll get a few of things things - I can dream right D:. (all items in bold are linked)
1 - Givenchy bag - I've had dreams of this bag omg. I've wanted it for a while and after seeing the pictures of Kylie Jenner sporting it, I just can't stop thinking about the endless outfits I could wear it with. Currently priced at £1,395 - this may just continue to be a dream for a few more years.
2 - Celine nano bag - It's so cute and small, and you could just look so casually sassy with a pair of sunglasses and loafers, what I love most is the size as I'm not a major major fan of handbags - currently priced at £1,890 - I think I'll just keep dreaming.
3 - Dr Marten '3989' Brogue Shoe - When I got the £15 version to these, I thought hmm yeah, but then after a while they kinda got soft and as I absolutely love wearing them I thought I could get the real ones for about £70 then I looked it up and found out it was £130, my heart shattered, the endless amount of outfits I've conjured up for these and they'd look even nicer with a sturdier pair. Maybe I'll actually save up for these but that might take a while and these are like the perfect winter wear.
4. Topshop Maroon Box purse - I've wanted a new purse that was bigger to fit all my money in (lol ofc) but I just couldn't find one i actually liked. I don't like the rectangular ones so when I came across this boxy one, I quite liked it as it was big but still small... however I didn't feel like spending £14 on a purse so I just left it, but, I think I might go back for it. And I love the colour.
5. Topshop Mesh drawstring bag - I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it, the mesh plus the khaki was the perfect mix of ahhhhh. Khaki is a beautiful colour yes. It was only £10 but I couldn't justify spending £10 on a drawstring bag plus I don't even know what I'd put inside or what I'd wear it with really but then again I'm always one to make excuses as to why I shouldn't spend money on things. Maybe I'll go back for this one too. :3 ....maybe.
6. White Jumper -£22  7. Black Jumper- £22 8. Grey jumper - £35 - When thinking of what to wear, it usually has one of these items involved, as its winter - sweaters are only right. I was also thinking of doing a casual lookbook so I kinda want all these and I can imagine them all with boyfriend coats and leather or cigarette pants or mom jeans or just black ripped jeans. who wants to fund me? :D
9. Khaki coat  - The thing is with coats is they're hardly warm and if they are - they're expensive and like it's not like you can just have one coat for every outfit- you need quite a few to satisfy different outfit combinations but the nice one's are so expensive D: I can't. This one here is a major £95 and I doubt I'll be getting this anytime soon as it's such a specific colour I wouldn't wear it that often so it would be a bit of a waste. Maybe if I saved up - but even if I do I can never imagine spending a whole £95 on one thing - I usually get swayed into lots of small things.
10. Black midi coat  - I always wear an outfit and imagine a nice black coat with it. A black coat that looks like this. Its so simple and sophisticated and you can wear it with so many things - the khaki bag, the jumpers, the Celine nano bag- ahhhhhhhh. after making this list I think I'll starting trying harder to save money. This one is £70 so it might actually be the first thing I buy. :o

PRICE CHECK
So lets see how much this all costs: £3683 LOOOOL. wow. ok - lets try again.
What I can actually attempt to save up for and actually buy: £398 HA!
Ok when I actually prioritise the list of what I should actually buy: £258 (reasonable right?)
(Black Midi coat, Purse, Docs, Black jumper and White jumper)
But obviously there are cheaper jumpers,  if I look I bet I could find them for half the price so take away £22 -
FINAL TOTAL: £236 (better) :p

1. HOW TO | FEEL BETTER ABOUT YOURSELF.

I really wanted to start doing these on my blog at some point, I never knew when but since I've ran out of outfits I thought why not today, and because I love reading them and I thought it might help some people.

I'm not a professional at this so these are just things that help me and I thought why not share :D.

1. STOP COMPARING. This is probably the most heard advice anyone has ever gotten but it's honestly one of the best. If you're having a crappy day and you start scrolling on Instagram, looking at filtered pictures and perfected camera angles of others to compare yourself to - how fair is it? Looking at someone else and thinking "why don't I look like that?" will get you nowhere. The sooner you accept that there are people who will look 10x better than you the better. Yeah she's pretty that's great, that's her, she does her really well. Learn to be the best version of YOURSELF and soon enough, you'll feel better about yourself regardless of what her body/hair looks like.

2. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Ask yourself. What don't I like? Can I change it? No?  then accept it. The quicker you understand that it's never gonna change so there's no point in downing yourself because you aren't gonna wake up one morning and its suddenly how you like it the better. You just have to change your mindset.  And if you can change it - then figure something out; you don't like your hair - find a style that makes you feel good about yourself and test it out. Don't like the way you dress? Look for some inspiration and start incorporating it into your own wardrobe. I could say the same thing about everything else but obviously don't take things to an extreme especially in situations where you're dealing with weight.  If you aren't happy with your body, go to the gym and tone up, but don't go overboard, starting creating the version of yourself that you want to be; because you're in control.

3. TRY TO BETTER YOURSELF.  I find that on days that I feel really shitty I dress shitty too which is really bad because it just adds to the list of things to hate about myself. If you feel crappy when you wake up in the morning - try a little harder then you won't have any reasons to down yourself, the more you tried, the better you feel. I always forget this then I end up spending the day with my head down and wishing I was under my duvet or that I wore something different. Wear something that makes you feel nicer, or take a little longer doing your hair or your face.

4. DON'T LISTEN TO EVERYONE ELSE- If you care too much about what other people think you will drive yourself insane. If you spend too much time thinking "Are they laughing at me?" then you're gonna have a really hard time being happy with yourself. Regardless of what people think of you, you're in control of how you react to it, you can let it affect you or you can brush it off and move on with life and focus on yourself.

5. BAN THE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS. As soon as you think something bad about yourself, change thoughts. Or if that's too hard, for every negative think up a positive. If you feel bad, there's no point in drowning yourself in negative thoughts as it will make you feel even worse, how will you ever feel better if all you do is highlight whats wrong?

6. B WHO U WANNA B. I always think of what I wanna look like, if you want to be a certain type of person, nothing's stopping you from being that person. Obviously in no means be this fake person, but be the dream version of yourself.

- I hope this helped anyone who needed an extra boost. :) And if there's anything else you guys want me to talk about then don't be afraid to ask.
